The villa is located on the Tuscany development. Tuscany is located in an area of outstanding beauty in the Westside development surrounded by natural wetlands and pine wooded landscape with an abundance of natural birds (including Eagle) and wildlife along with the nearby Lake Davenport make this one of the most beautiful and tranquil settings in Central Florida and yet only 1 mile from Highway 192 with all it's attractions, bars and restaurants.
The community is also ideally located within easy reach of Orlando International and Sanford Airports and only minutes** from Disney World making it the perfect location for visitors from around the World. For those wishing to spend more time relaxing whilst in the Sunshine State, Tuscany's proximity to a number of championship golf courses, an abundance of restaurants and some of the best shopping malls in the state make this the perfect place to explore the best Central Florida has to offer.
The Google earth link opposite shows the approximate location of our villa. Westside development have built a 1 mile road which unfortunately doesn't currently appear on Google as yet. This road is called Westside Boulevard and joins HW192 opposite Avalon Road and links to Funie Steed Road (at the green arrow on the map).
The 192 has many restaurants, bars and shops that you can call in on your way back from the park after a busy day. Why not call in at Publix or Subway or PizzaHut or Domino's on the way back to our villa from the park and pick up you evening meal ? You will pass many options on your way back.
Westside development are also soon to commence the building of a Town Centre which is said to be "Celebration" like and will be around 1 mile from the door of our villa. With this major development of the area we are sure you can imagine it is possible that building work could be encounted in and around Tuscany until the whole Westside development is fully completed.
"The 1,150-acre, $1.5 billion master-planned community of Westside is getting a new addition: a town center. Westside developer Maesbury Homes Inc. expects to submit engineering plans in the next 90 days for a $300 million town center, which could include 151,000 square feet of retail and commercial space. Site work could begin on the town center early next year pending approval, says Maesbury Homes President Paul Oxley. - Orlando Business Journal - August 2007"
Our villa is specifically chosen to ensure that you can not only enjoy the morning sun whilst eating breakfast by the pool but you can also enjoy the early evening sun in the spa whilst drinking your cocktail.
For those interested in longer term rental Westside has plans to provide a charter school within walking distance of Tuscany.
** The distance to DisneyWorld is quoted on many villa advertisements as under 10 minutes. Many of these villas will be located on HW27. If you examine the Google map of the area you will see that anyone located on HW27 travelling to DisneyWorld will firstly need to travel along HW27 before accessing HW192 and then travel along HW192 before passing through the new junction to Tuscany. We prefer to quote a more realistic timescale to ensure we manage your expectations correctly, but could quote under 8 minutes for our villa as we have achieved this ONCE. You should more realistically expect a journey time from our villa to DisneyWorld of between 15 and 20 minutes, due to traffic volumes and traffic lights along the 192. In our opinion anyone staying on HW27 should expect a journey time greater than from our villa.
